A niche little thing that is kind of annoying:

Clicking a fish to view fish info places a food down which means that a coin is lost if you just want to check a fish's level and they have little hunger

Otherwise an addictive little game cant wait for more updates in the future!

yeah sorry, excess food dropping is one of the worst bugs, I will try to fix it in the next update

Follow-up as I continued to play

Seems fish can't overlap with each other, so if they are pushing against each other, they can't pass each other

Coins, no matter what level(s) you level the fish are just 10 each, that's if you stop feeding them, not very rewarding on top of having money be used as food

You can feed fish infinitely, if there's any resting period when there is no fish food on screen, then they'll drop coins then have a resting period

Exploit that you can feed fish without needing to move, when feeding them in the corner, clicking repeatedly, if having at least 3+, the fish will push against each other in the corner, keeping the one in the corner, then you can feed infinitely

The joystick "Arcade" should be made apparent as a minigame, I thought it was a quick-link to some project page for some entry as a promotion or advertisement

Exploit resetting shop faster by entering the arcade, but this only allows up to a maximum of "40 cost fish as the DAB" as the maximum part of the reset process, I have yet to see anything higher after doing it over 20 times, seeing DAB come up 5 times as the highest priced fish

Just in case you plan to update the game, this info is here, I had fun, my highest priced fish I was able to obtain was the Barreleye at 530 that I have been able to see

thank you for playing and the feedback, im glad you had some fun with it. we'll try to address some of these issues in future versions. I have recorded them in our issues tracker.

In case you want to play again, i think you misunderstood a few things. fish are sorted by rarity level, and which rarity levels can appear in the shop is based on your tank size. so the bigger your tank the rarer the fish you might see. they are picked the same way even after a minigame ends.

also fish dont spawn coins only at the bottom, your fish were probably just there a lot. and you dont need to stack food to make your fish go upwards, they will swim upwards naturally, or if they're hungry and food is above them.

I'll still try to adjust those things to avoid confusion though

TUTORIAL

I have added a tutorial to our issue tracker.
but for now:
- click shop button to buy fish
- click to feed fish
- collect dropped coins, play arcade games, sell leveled up fish to make money
- upgrade tank to fit more fish and get rarer fish in shop

Looks cute, but I have a few issues with the game that literally makes it unplayable or at least less casual & more grindy with unforgiving mechanics

1. Majorly, placing fish food to eat, costs your money, so even if you collect the money, it serves no purpose in collecting it, if to grow your fish, you are losing it, so it makes no sense to collect it, you can have at minimum 1 coin & feed for free after that, if you have any more than 1, then placing the fish food is 1 coin each

2. Fish mostly only spawn coins when reaching the bottom, I got a fish to bounce & drop a coin slightly above the bottom once, but that was only once, have only a little time before you can collect coins this way otherwise it's lost

Although, a silly mechanic, you can stack fish food to have the fish climb upwards, you can manage to stack food enough to get them swimming in the air

Needs a few refined aspects to the game before it can become playable, while it is technically playable, it's a severe grind just leveling up fish, sell them & try to upgrade after that, since you can't really collect coins & grow that way as it takes away your money when feeding fish
